Ally Toolkit to Support Diverse Leadership
Supporting Indigenous Women, Two-Spirit, Women of Colour, Gender Diverse People and Women Living with Disabilities in LeadershipIntroductionBecoming an ally is ongoing work. White, settler, cis-gender, heterosexual, and non-disabled are privileged positions and as such white women (and men) have an important role to play in supporting Indigenous women and Two-Spirit peoples, women of colour and gender diverse people from different contexts to move into leadership roles. White women (and men) must play a substantial role in challenging inequitable structures, such as settler colonialism, racism, and sexism.
